Where can I swim?

With all this water around, you might be surprised to discover that swimming isn’t available in all areas.

Swimming is not permitted in either of the Virginia State Parks: Occoneechee or Staunton River.

Public swim beaches are available at all Corps of Engineers campgrounds in the area:

is just 3 miles from Clarksville’s historic downtown on Highway 15. This airport is open to the public, and offers aviation fuel and courtesy transportation.
